Ken Smith has been a leader in environmental conservation since early childhood.  An avid and accomplished hiker, climber, mountain biker, and trip leader, he has served on conservation committees and board and taught appreciation of the wilderness with the following organizations:

Being an environmentally conscious citizen is as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Be informed:  Spend just a little time learning about the small things that you, your family, and your community can do to make an impact on the global environment

  2. Be aware:  Take notice of the myriad projects and programs that are going on all around you every day, and join or support those efforts as best you can, or cheer on those people who are taking action

  3. Be involved:  Get Involved with local community organizations
