Agreement with US$30B Utility
Smith Energy has signed an agreement
to develop solar and wind power generating
facilities throughout New England. The
confidential partner is a multi-billion dollar
utility that selected Smith Energy as it's primary
local partner in the region. |

Ken Smith selected as a start-up
coach for MIT Ignite Clean Energy competition
Ken Smith, founder and CEO of Smith
Energy, was selected by the
Ignite Clean Energy
steering committee to be a coach to
Covalent Solar, an MIT spinout creating
an innovative solar concentrator technology.
Covalent subsequently won $10K for best elevator
pitch and attracted the attention of more than 100
angel investors and 15 top tier venture capital
funds. |

Board
Nick d'Arbeloff is the
Executive Director of the
New England
Clean Energy Council where he
drives activity in the areas of Innovation
and Growth, and plays a leading role in directing
the activities of the Innovation Task Force and the
CEO Council. He is also heavily involved with the
Council’s policy efforts. |

Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations

and the Town of Shrewsbury to convert a landfill site
into a renewable energy facility. Founded in
